I use one on my excursion for camping trips. I tried the one you posted, but the sides didn’t work for me. I went with the one with a low lip around the edge and I strap my tubs down to it. Works great.
Installation is just slipping it into the hitch reciever and putting a pin in. The one I have has an anti rattle plate that you can bolt on, but I don’t use it. All in all it’s one of the best aftermarket purchases I’ve made, way more useful than a roof rack. If you added a front hitch reciever you could really go crazy with it too.
